Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 30 September 2026
1. Scope
Effective date: 3 October 2026. This Policy is issued by Grid Heap, Inc., a Delaware corporation, at 1111B S Governors Ave Ste 51059, Dover, DE 19904, United States, and forms part of the Terms of Use for Embeddings. It applies to the website and the service access, deployments, tasks or instructions you use through it.
2. Permitted use
You may use the service for its stated purposes, including lawful development, research, evaluation and business activity, within the access rights and limits granted to you. You must have authority over the content, accounts and systems involved and comply with applicable law and relevant third-party requirements.
You may read the catalogue and documentation and use authorized embedding access for retrieval, search, ranking or classification over content you are entitled to process.
3. Prohibited conduct
- Unlawful content or activity, including child sexual abuse material, exploitation of minors, unlawful threats, fraud, or incitement of violence.
- Access to accounts, repositories, systems or personal information without permission; deceptive impersonation; violation of privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.
- Malware, credential theft, phishing, destructive commands against systems you do not control, or abuse of the service to attack another person or organization.
- Circumvention of authentication, rate limits, credit or compute accounting, sanctions controls, suspended access or provider safety requirements.
- Publishing, selling or transferring raw service keys or account access without authorization; using another person’s payment credentials or submitting a transaction without valid approval.
- Workloads or automated traffic that materially disrupt availability, evade resource limits or continue after a lawful request to stop.
- Unlawful biometric identification, surveillance or decisions using sensitive data without the rights and safeguards required by applicable law.
4. Responsibility for results
You are responsible for selecting inputs and tools, checking rights and permissions, and reviewing outputs and operational effects. AI results may be inaccurate or unsafe. Embedding similarity, generated code or an agent’s statement is not proof that a conclusion or transaction is correct.
Do not rely solely on AI output for a decision with significant effects on a person. Do not configure a task, endpoint or purchase instruction to perform an action that you are not entitled to authorize. Our service does not remove your duties toward your own users or third-party systems.
5. Enforcement and review
We may investigate reported misuse and apply proportionate measures such as warning, rate limiting, disabling a credential, stopping a workload or suspending access. Urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the issue and what is needed to resolve it.
If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact legal@gridheap.com with the account or service reference and relevant information. We will review the request. Any remaining entitlement or refund is governed by the applicable Terms and Refund Policy, and by mandatory law; this Policy does not create automatic forfeiture of money.
6. Reporting
Report a product abuse issue through support@gridheap.com; send legal or privacy matters to legal@gridheap.com. Report security incidents through security@gridheap.com. Include enough information to locate the issue without distributing unlawful content or usable credentials.
